Gibson L-3 1918 - RECENTLY SOLD

Summary

Body: Double bound body with a spruce top, mahogany back and sides.

Neck: Bound mahogany neck and ebony fretboard with dot inlays.

Cosmetic Condition: A few minor dings on front of the body, just a few scratches on the back, otherwise, it's looking fantastic after all these years!

Modifications: An old crack on the top has been professionally repaired with a spline. The repair is hardly noticeable, leading us to believe that the guitar may have been oversprayed. It had tuners on at some point since extra holes and other tuner footprints are visible, but the correct tuners are either original or era-correct reproductions.
